- Two CNAMEs are required:
www → ghs.google.comand the unique security CNAME that Blogger shows you. - Four A records on the root domain make the “Redirect domain” setting work. Add a CAA record for
letsencrypt.orgonly if your domain uses CAA. - Wait at least one hour, save again in Blogger, then turn on HTTPS.

DNS records you need
| Type | Name / Host | Value | Needed? |
|---|---|---|---|
| CNAME | www | ghs.google.com | Required |
| CNAME | Unique name from Blogger | Unique value from Blogger | Required |
| A ×4 | @ | 216.239.32.21216.239.34.21216.239.36.21216.239.38.21 | For root redirect |
| CAA | @ | Tag issue, value letsencrypt.org | Only if you use CAA |
If A records already exist for your root domain, delete them before adding the four Google IPs. Google also says you may not always need to enter both CNAMEs, so copy exactly what your own Blogger error message shows.

- Open Settings → Publishing → Custom domain.
- Enter
www.yourdomain.comand click Save. - Blogger shows an error with two CNAMEs. Copy both the names and the destinations.

- Create a free account and click Add a site. Pick the Free plan.
- Delete old A and CNAME records that point to previous hosting.
- Copy the two Cloudflare nameservers.
- At your registrar, replace the nameservers with those two.
- Wait until Cloudflare shows the site as Active.
- Open DNS → Records and add both CNAMEs and the four A records.
- Set every record to DNS only (grey cloud).
- If you use CAA, add
letsencrypt.orgwith tagissue. - Return to Blogger and save the custom domain.
